Meagan Good's mother Tyra was a teenager when she worked in Panorama City as a manager and father Leondis Leon Good, a policeman from LAPD. She grew up with her three brothers at home in Canyon Country in California and began acting when she was just four years old. At the beginning of her career she was an extra for TV shows like Doogie Howser Amen or M.D. In 1995 at 13 she was cast in her debut film Friday. The film first gained attention in 1997 with her performance in the role of Cisely batiste (a struggling teenage girl) on Eve's Bayou, for which she was nominated twice as well as an N.A.A.C.P. Image Award Nomination. Good took minor roles in films and television for a few years, before moving into roles that were more mature at the start of the decade. The actress played Nina on Cousin Skeeter the Nickelodeon T.V. The actress was on the Nickelodeon T.V. show Cousin Skeeter, from 1998 to 2001. She has also had minor role in the film House Party, Down to the Very Last Minute as well as 3 Strikes. In 2003 she played Vanessa Scott, a character in My Wife and Kids. In 2004, she was a part-time actress in D.E.B.S, an action comedy film which earned her a nomination for Best Actress at the Black Movie Awards in 2005. After this she featured in various films like You've Got Yourself Served, Cookout Venom One Missed Call Waist Deep and The Love Guru. In 2012, she appeared seen on T.V. As well as in movies her roles included Mya as well as Ms. Stevens respectively in Think Like a Man with the entire cast as well as Dysfunctional Friends, which starred a smaller group. Killmer was a student at Baylor University Waco Texas. She graduated with an B.F.A. In performing arts, her degree was obtained in 2010. Her acting career began in 2010 when she appeared in Simon Fuller's webseries,"If I Can Dream. Kara Killmer began her career as a screen actress in 2010, after having appeared in several local plays. The actress was featured in Simon Fuller's Hulu Series If I Can Dream in its first episode. The Hulu series If I Can Dream is centered around the lives of a bunch of performers who reside within Hollywood California.
