Julia-roberts
Julia Fiona Roberts is the daughter of Betty Lou Bredemus, and Walter Grady Roberts. She was born on the 28th of October 1967 in Atlanta. Roberts is part of the Robertses' fourth generation to reside in the Atlanta area beginning in the family of her grand-father John Pendleton Roberts a farmer. Early on, her father was interested in theatre. When he was studying at Emory University in 1952 he acted in productions on campus as well as in other parts of Atlanta. In 1953, he joined the Air Force, and was stationed at Biloxi in Mississippi, he acted in a production that he performed in with Betty Lou Bredemus. Eric Anthony was their first born. The couple got married in the year 1957. Walter was a student at Tulane University New Orleans Louisiana after leaving the Airforce in 1957. The family relocated in 1960 from Louisiana to Decatur Georgia where Walter began working at Atlanta's Academy Theater and the Harrington Scenic and Lighting Studio. Walter as well as Betty Lou financed their own production of the local Sunday morning children's show, Bum Bum and His Buddies. The following year, they started The Actors and Writers Workshop which was in operation for a period of six years. They were joined by Lelisa Billingsley (also called Lisa) and Julia (also also known as Julie) at the time.
