Kelly Clarkson has been a musician and singer in the United States for more than twenty years. She took home American Idol during the first season. The show's win that catapulted Kelly Clarkson's name to the forefront, it also landed her an agreement with RCA Records 19 Recordings & 'S Records for a number of albums. In the years since, she's recorded numerous studio albums, three of that reached the top of the US Billboard 200' chart and the rest of her albums just missed the coveted spot. Her name is among the top artists who come out of her participation in the American Idol series. She tried her hand at popularity with diverse musical and theme styles, often writing the songs herself. Her work was praised by critics and numerous high-profile awards for her uniqueness as well as her singing talent. In particular, she's won three times the Grammy Award three times. Alongside her music career, she also has worked in film and TV. She also co-wrote the children's novel River Rose and the Magical Lullaby as well as been associated in a variety of charitable organisations.
