Simone Biles

Simone Biles (born on March 14, 1997 Columbus Ohio U.S.A.) American Gymnast widely regarded as one of the most outstanding athletes. At the 2016 Olympics at Rio de Janeiro she became the first female U.S. gymnast to win four gold medals at the same Games as well as the first gymnast to earn three consecutive World All-around championships (2013-15). Biles was raised at home in Spring Texas, in the Houston metro area. Her sister Adria had been adopted by Ronald and Nellie Biles. Simone was introduced to the sport of gymnastics through her daycare teacher Aimee Borman, when she was just six years old. Biles stayed with Bannon's Gymnastix for 11 years. Biles achieved a silver medal at vault in 2010 and also a bronze at the Women's Junior Olympic National Championships. Biles then advanced to competitions at the elite level in 2011. Within less than two years, she had become the most successful athlete in her discipline. What set Biles apart was the consistency of her fun-loving personality, as well as the level of difficulty she incorporated into her routines in all four events--vault uneven bars, balance beam, and floor exercises.
