Anya Taylor-Joy

Anya Taylor Joy, a half-English and half-Spanish woman, was born on April 16th, 1997 in Miami Florida. She is the daughter of Dennis Alan Taylor, a ex-bank executive, and Jennifer Marina Joy, a psychologist, is Anya Taylor-Joy. Her father is Argentine, of Scottish-English heritage. Her mother's ancestry is Spanish as well as English. The four siblings of Taylor-Joy are from her father's former marriage. They lived within Buenos Aires until she was six then relocated to the Victoria part in London. Taylor Joy said the move from Buenos Aires, to Victoria was difficult and she did not learn English in hopes of going home to Argentina. Hill House became her school preference after she was ordered to move schools. Then she attended Queen's Gate School where she was a ballet student and performed in school plays. At the age of 16, she left school in order to take on a full-time job in acting. Taylor-Joy's ambition to become an actor began at a young, age. Sarah Doukas of Storm Management was the very first model to hire her as model for professional models.
